Herbert the Pear from Wonder Worm

Herbert the Pear was introduced in the first episode of Wonder Worm. He was an experiment to see if fruit could be manipulated in a similar fashion as the human skeleton. The animation was designed in 3D and none of the fruit had arms or legs, just hands and feet - in hopes of learning if viewers could suspend disbelief and still buy into the "reality" of the characters.

The banana was played by my daughter Carolyn and the manager was played by my son Chris, who designed Herbert on a napkin one day.




So, could you buy into the story without them having arms and legs or do I need to add them in?
